Garrett Park, MD

Garrett Park has a number of amenities available for residents and visitors.

Garrett Park Nursery School offers year round programs, and is available for use by  Town community groups.

Penn Place (4600 Waverly Ave., Garrett Park) houses the Town Office, the Post Office, Art at Penn Place Gallery, the Black Market Bistro and the Town Archives.

Town Hall (10814 Kenilworth Ave.,Garrett Park) is the site of many scheduled programs including exercise and yoga classes, films, Town social events and meetings. The Hall is available for rent for private events.

Local Outdoor Recreation

Baseball Fields: one field is in Cambria Park; one is behind Garrett Park Elementary School.

Basketball Courts: one full court is at Garrett-Waverly Park, 4600 Waverly Ave.; one is at Ken-Gar Palisades Park.

Bike Paths: from Garrett Park into Waverly Park, to Rock Creek Park.

Garrett Park Swimming Pool: next to Cambria Park.
