Penn Place
An outstanding property in the Garrett Park Historic District, 4600 Waverly Avenue, this building is the heart of the town, housing the Post Office, the Archives, Black Market Bistro, Town Office, and other offices. The ground floor gallery features Art exhibitions; the 3rd floor offers a Garden Library. Penn Place is the location of Town gatherings such as the picnic after the 4th of July Parade, concerts, and Halloween festivities. One of the first buildings built in town, it served as a general store until the 1980's.
