Committees established by Ordinance:
Arboretum Committee – advises the Mayor, Town Manager and Council on the management of all tree and perennial plantings in the Town rights –of –way and public spaces.
Archives Committee – advises the Mayor, Town Manager and Council on matters involving the Town archives, including the function of official records management.
Historic Preservation Committee–advises the Mayor and Town Council on preservation matters, and reviews permit applications for homes within the Historic Overlay before applicants submit permit applications to Montgomery County Historic Preservation Commission.
Committees established by the Mayor:
Land Use Committee (Ad hoc) - advises the Town Manager, Mayor and Council on the approval of building permits and variance applications.
